Chew Valley, Bristol - Green Belt Extension to Dwelling

Chew Valley Green Belt

Key Skills: Planning Application

Category: Green Belt development

Extension to dwelling

LPA: Bath & North East Somerset Council

The Project

Tadman Planning Consultants assisted the client to gain planning permission for an extension to an existing dwelling in the Green Belt.

Extensions to buildings in the Green Belt are strictly controlled and the house had already been extended extensively in the past. With the knowledge that further extensions would not be acceptable, we worked with Hill Reading Architects to remove an existing porch and car port which allowed the released ‘volume’ to be used for two extensions providing much needed space for the clients.

Planning permission was granted with no negotiation required in 2023.

Development in the Green Belt can be challenging but we have the right expertise to ensure your planning application is successful.
